What is Git Sync in AI Studio?

Git Sync is a two-way integration between AI Studio and GitHub that keeps project code synchronized across both platforms. When you connect a GitHub account, AI Studio automatically creates a private repository for your project and pushes its initial version to GitHub.

Once connected, Git Sync supports the following workflows:

Git Sync is optional. Projects that are not connected to GitHub continue using AI Studio's existing building, editing, preview, and version management features.

How to Set Up Git Sync with GitHub in AI Studio

Connecting your GitHub account allows AI Studio to create a private repository and establish automatic synchronization for your project. Once the connection is complete, you can manage your code from AI Studio or an external development environment.

Follow these steps to connect GitHub:

  1. Navigate to AI Studio in your Chat To Clients CRM sub-account and open the project you want to connect.

  2. Click More → Git to open the Git Sync settings.

  3. Select the option to connect a GitHub account. Sign in to GitHub if prompted, then authorize the Chat To Clients CRM application and complete the GitHub app installation.

  4. Select the GitHub account or organization you want to connect.

  5. Complete the connection process. AI Studio automatically creates a private repository under the selected account, names it after your project, and pushes the initial project version. If you reconnect a previously connected project, AI Studio can reuse its existing repository rather than creating a new one.

  6. Confirm that the repository is connected and review the Automatic Push and Automatic Pull settings. Both are enabled by default.

Your AI Studio project is now connected to GitHub. Saved project versions can be pushed to the repository, and new commits on the connected GitHub branch can be pulled back into AI Studio.
